Shampoo day of event with quality products. (unless asked not to) If you have fine hair, you can skip conditioner today. If you have thick, dry, or textured hair, light conditioner is best.

Regular haircuts are ideal. But if this hasn't happened, a trim 2-3 weeks prior to the event will leave you with soft edges ready to be styled.

2

Coloring is also ideal 2-3 weeks before your event. Always talk with your main hairstylist for their recommendations. They know your hair best. I like glosses 1-2 weeks for events for optimal shine.

3

Deep conditioning the week of event helps create a health base for your style. Healthy hair is happy hair!

5

Last but not least, blow dry your hair (unless directed otherwise). No need for products at this time. I'll take care of all that for you. Your job is to have your hair fully dried a few hours before I get to play with it.

Pro tip:

Sleeping with a satin pillowcase or slip over your pillow the night after your event, will allow you to hold on to your style for best second day hair*
